IS THE FIRST PHOTO ON THE LEFT REGULATOR DOC SCURLOCK?

The story goes like this: the photo fell out of one of Doc's books and it was naturally assumed by his family that it was himself and his wife, Antonia. However, Doc's sister Mary Ann married a man named A.J. "Jack" Smith in Washington, Texas in March of 1876. Doc married Antonia October of 1876 in Lincoln. It was a constant conversation about how much Doc and Jack resembled each other. Below are more photos for comparison. The second photo is in its entirety. The third photo is a confirmed photo of Doc and Antonia. The fourth photo has two confirmed photos of Doc on the bottom, while the top right is a confirmed photo of A.J. "Jack" Smith.

COALITION CLUE: down in Mexico in 1870, Doc was involved in an altercation over a card game. The two men drew their pistols and Doc was shot through his mouth and the bullet came clean out the back of his neck. Doc's two front teeth were shot out and tradition states that he grew his mustache over his mouth for he was paranoid that mutilation was seen.

The photo in question has been proven to be Doc's brother-in-law A.J. "Jack" Smith.
