William H Antrim, A Miner With Only One H.

I want to set the record straight, there is an error that continues to go around the internet which is confuss William H Antrim who was in the 54th Indiana with William Henry Harrison Antrim who was in the 1st Conn Cav and the 104 Penn Volunteers.

These are 2 seprate people, born 2 years apart. William H Antrim, who was Billys stepfather is William H Antrim. In every document, record he is ever found in there is only one H in his name. Even in his pension records. (see below an example of just a few)

The other Wm H H Antrim, all of his records show H H..

That is Wm Henry Harrison Antrim. He was in a home for disabled vets in Penn, listing his service of 104th Penn... you can find his pension records under the 104th Penn as Wm H. H. Harrison. He filed his pension on 4/26/1889.... This man was never in CA. All his records show him in PN, Conn, New Jersey..

William H Antrim, who was Billys step father, was the one in OH, IN, KS, NM, AZ and CA... he was a miner and followed the gold after his father Levi died in IN... Indiana being a place that the William Henry Harrison Antrim NEVER lived.
